Mittet Thermal Overboots

Mittet Thermal Overboots are overboots with integrated gaiters and insulating soles. The large opening makes it easy to slip your boots inside for protection from the elements.

They have been specially developed for military use in cold, wet conditions. Approved by the Norwegian army for over 30 years and listed in the NATO catalogue, they provide optimum thermal insulation thanks to high-performance materials. They are also widely used by professionals and regular outdoor enthusiasts.

Manufactured with a polyurethane sole capable of withstanding -30°C while remaining flexible, these overshoes guarantee grip when walking. The integrated groove at the back of the boot cover is compatible with the rear hooks of ski bindings.

The long upper gaiter is made from reinforced polyurethane-coated fabric, guaranteeing both total waterproofing and high abrasion resistance.

These overboots lock with an internal waterproof YKK zip and have a Velcro flap. The design has been improved to make them easier to put on and take off, and they are compatible with most combat and/or hiking boots.

Thanks to their lightweight design (848g in size 41/42), Mittet Thermal Overboots are easy to carry and compress for optimum storage. They are particularly recommended for rest periods in cold, damp terrain (e.g. bivouacs), to prevent loss of body heat.
