Nortent Ly 2 Tent

The Ly 2 Tent from Norwegian brand Nortent is a tunnel tent suitable for 2.5 people (2 adults + 1 child). This tunnel-shaped tent is very comfortable to live in. 2 awnings (one on each side) allow you to store equipment or cook in the dry. The inner chamber is spacious for just 2 people (145 x 210 cm), and can accommodate 2 full-size mattresses.

The tent can be erected very quickly by just one person. The 3 poles (made of 0.7 mm-diameter aluminum) are passed through sleeves in the outer fabric and slide into thick sleeves. This provides extra durability and wind resistance. The inner liner is fixed to the outer liner, so it stays dry when set up in the rain. 28 dyneema pegs and 14 guy ropes ensure secure anchoring.

The outer chamber is made of 30-denier silnylon (water column 3000 mm); to make the tent completely waterproof, we recommend coating the seams with SeamGrip+Sil. The floor is made of 70 denier nylon and can withstand a water column of up to 10,000 mm.

This tent is ventilated by 2 air vents above the doors and by the doors to the inner chamber, which can also be used in mosquito net mode.
On rainy days, the chamber remains protected even with the entrances open. There are 4 pockets in the bedroom for easy storage of small items.

The Ly 2 is highly adaptable to changing weather conditions and needs. The inner chamber can be removed, and the 2 closures to the outside can be opened to varying degrees, so you can enjoy the scenery to the full, or be completely protected from the elements. Note that 2 Ly 2 tents can be coupled together to create a 4-seater tent or a 2-seater tent with an extra-large vestibule.

Weighing in at just 3.7 kilos, the Ly 2 is ideal for treks where a reliable, spacious and protective shelter is essential.
