Nortent Vern 1 Tent nylon

The Vern 1 Tent nylon from Norwegian brand Nortent is a 1-person tent for year-round use. Designed with care and made from hard-wearing materials, it will stand up to adverse conditions.

The outer fabric is 30-denier silnylon ripstop. Seams must be coated with SeamGrip+Sil for perfect waterproofing. Dyneema reinforcements in the areas where the hoops pass provide extra strength and durability. The 70-denier nylon floor withstands a water column of 10,000 millimeters. The 3 7001 aluminum poles (diameter 9.5 millimeters) ensure that the tent holds firm even in strong winds and snow.

Set-up is very simple, taking just a few minutes once you've got the hang of it. The chamber is attached to the flysheet, so you can get to safety as quickly as possible. The 18 sardines and 10 guy ropes ensure secure anchoring.

The Vern 1 is well ventilated, thanks to 2 vents at the ends of the tent. It's also possible to open the chamber at this point for better air circulation. Another vent is higher up at the entrance. Depending on the weather and your needs, you can be perfectly protected from the elements or closer to nature, thanks to the 2 zips that allow the awning to open almost completely.

This tent is spacious. The bedroom can accommodate a 190 x 60 centimetre mattress and equipment. The awning is also large enough to store a rucksack and cook. A strap allows the geometry of the inner chamber to be altered slightly, depending on whether the tent is used in sitting or lying mode. The tent weighs 2.4 kilograms.
