Cumulus Neo Quilt 450

The Neo Quilt 450 from Polish brand Cumulus is an ultra-lightweight, minimalist sleeping solution. With no hood and an open back, it weighs just 610 grams and has a comfort temperature rating of -2°C. It must be used with an insulated sleeping mat, which will protect you from the cold coming up from the ground.

The fabric is 7-denier Toray Airstastic with DWR treatment. The 450 grams of 900 cuin goose down are distributed across 39 compartments with H-shaped baffles, ensuring that the filling stays in place.

The ideal solution for hikers who prefer ultra-lightweight gear even in cool weather, this quilt is closed at the feet. The footbox is spacious for added comfort. Two elastic straps with buckles allow you to attach the quilt to your sleeping mat (compatible with widths from 50 to 60 centimetres). These straps are adjustable so you can tighten them depending on the temperature and allow more or less airflow. At the neck, a press stud and elastic reduce heat loss.

Compared to a traditional sleeping bag, a quilt offers more space, whether you sleep on your side, on your back or with your knees bent. And the weight-to-warmth ratio is better because the down is not compressed.
