The D590 sleeping bag from Czech brand Patizon is filled with RDS-certified, hypoallergenic 700 cuin+, 90/10 European duck down. The 590 grams are evenly distributed on top and bottom, 50-50%. The partitions are Z-shaped to limit heat loss. With a comfort temperature of -5°C, it's ideal for 3-season use in the mountains.
The inner fabric of the D590 is DWR-treated Pertex Quantum, while the outer fabric is DWR-treated Toray Airtastic. In addition to this, the face area is insulated with Climashield synthetic fiber, which is better suited than down to the moisture exhaled during the night.
The semi-automatic zipper runs up the top. This also makes for a more anatomical shoulder construction, with no need for Velcro to close the opening. Equipped with a blocker, once engaged, the zipper slider no longer slides.
Lightweight at 925 g, it's just as compact. It can be compressed by 13 times its volume to fit into a 20 x 27 cm compression bag.
