Tear-Aid Repair Kit Type B

Tear-Aid Repair Kit Type B is a patch for repairing vinyl- and PVC-only materials and fabrics.

Vinyls contain oils that are absorbed by most adhesives, causing the adhesive to become sticky, gummy and eventually lose its grip. Tear-Aid Type B vinyl repair patches contain an inhibitor that blocks the oils present in vinyl, enabling a long-lasting repair.

This kit contains everything you need for multiple repairs:

• 300 mm x 76 mm adhesive, clear, flexible, strong,


• 4 degreasing wipes to clean the surface to be repaired,


• 1 nylon thread.

Simple to use, just cut a strip of adhesive to cover the hole or tear. As soon as it's applied, adhesion is 50% instantaneous, then becomes total after 24 hours. If you heat the patch with a hairdryer, full adhesion is instantly achieved.

Tear-Aid is transparent, so it's virtually invisible, waterproof and elastic. It can be deformed, but will always return to its original shape without damage.

This Type B set is suitable for all vinyl and PVC fabrics. It can be used, for example, to repair an inflatable PVC mattress, a vinyl tarpaulin, etc. It is effective in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 90°C.
