Alpina Pioneer Pro

Alpina's Pioneer Pro are Nordic backcountry skiboots made with a natural leather upper, a waterproof-breathable Alpitex membrane and the new Rottefella Xplore sole.

The anatomical footbed ensures stability and comfort. The Xplore sole is torsionally rigid for better ski control. SprinPin technology (retractable pins) allows for quick insertion/removal of boots from bindings. The design and placement of the SpringPin on the soles of the boots allows for a natural rolling of the feet, making it easier to glide on the flat or during climbs.

The SprinPin binding system is located on the side of the shoe, a technology that limits the risk of snow accumulation. The non-slip rubber outsole provides traction and grip when needed, for example when walking in snow or on snow-covered sections.

The Alpina Pionner Pro has stiffness zones, but also flex points to ensure a good ratio of support/control/natural flex.

Leather is a material that is naturally hydrophobic. Alpina has added the Alpitex membrane which offers additional protection against water and moisture, increasing comfort.

The shoes are tightened by a lacing system with 6 buckles. It allows a close fit for optimal control of the skis and to limit the lifting of the heels to limit the risk of blisters.
