The Expedition Full Frame Pack triangular frame bag from British brand Apidura offers plenty of volume for carrying heavy loads on long trips, without altering the bike's centre of gravity too much.
Made from 3-layer laminated fabric that's light, strong and waterproof, this pannier keeps all your gear clean and dry. It's 6 cm wide, so it won't bother your knees when you're pedalling.
The pannier is secured with 3 Velcro loops on the top tube, 2 adjustable straps on the seat tube and 3 adjustable straps on the down tube. There's an opening in the head tube for a hydration tube or cables for a GPS, light or phone. It is easy to fit when installing a pannier on the horizontal tube.
The pannier has a side pocket and a main pocket. This large pocket has a small internal pocket and an internal divider that can be removed with Velcro. When this divider is in place, access to your belongings is facilitated by a small zip at the bottom. The other zips are waterproof and run the full length of the bag, making it easy to find your gear.
The different beddings correspond to the size and geometry of your frame, so it's essential to take the measurements carefully to ensure a perfect fit.
