The opinion of Aventure Nordique
Exped's Mountain Pro 30 is a ski and mountaineering backpack with a multitude of equipment attachment options. In particular, it can carry a pair of skis, and there's space inside for a shovel and probe.
With its 420D Oxford nylon fabric, the backpack is tough enough to resist abrasion. It's also weather-resistant, with a waterproof rating of 3000 millimeters. Its roll-up closure and heat-sealed seams protect the interior from water infiltration. Even the two small side pockets have waterproof zippers.
The Mountain Pro 30 backpack features a large 30-liter volume with a wide opening for easy access, and a roll-up closure. The flap features two zipped pockets, one inside, one outside. A card holder is supplied and can be zipped inside. Four removable straps are also supplied, enabling skis to be attached diagonally, on the sides or underneath.
In terms of comfort, the interior features a full-height polymer foam panel, in addition to the exterior foam squares, to ensure comfort and stability. Its slim profile and compactness ensure a snug fit.
By removing the various removable parts, the weight of the backpack can be reduced to 900 grams.
