Exped Mountain Pro 40 Wmns

Exped's Mountain Pro 40 Wmns is a women's backpack dedicated to skiing and mountaineering. It's ideal for carrying a pair of skis, with a wide range of binding options. Inside, there's space for a shovel and probe.

It features a wide opening for easy access, opening onto a large 40-liter volume. A roll-up closure ensures waterproofing. The flap features a zipped pocket on the underside and a zipped pocket on the top. A card/document holder is supplied and can be attached to the backpack. Four removable straps allow skis to be attached diagonally, on the sides or underneath.

The Mountain Pro 40 Wmns backpack is made from 420D Oxford nylon fabric. It's tough enough to resist abrasion. It's also weather-resistant, with a waterproof rating of 3000 millimeters. Its roll-up closure and heat-sealed seams protect the interior from water infiltration. Even the two small side pockets on the flap have waterproof zips.

For comfort, Exped has added a full-height polymer foam panel to the interior, in addition to the exterior foam squares, to ensure comfort and stability. Its slim profile and compactness ensure a snug fit.

By removing the various removable parts, the weight of the backpack can be reduced to 860 grams.
