The Copper Spur HV UL2 Long from Big Agnes is an ultra-light 2 person tent for 3 season use. It is an extended version of 20 centimetres in length and 7 centimetres in height. It is suitable for tall people who are usually cramped in traditional tents. And if you are not tall, you can use the space for extra storage!
It will delight light hikers because of its light weight and comfortable interior space. The dimensions of the tent make it very comfortable to live in, especially as it has two side apses with two large openings. In addition, the doors can be positioned as an awning with two hiking poles.
Inside, the room has plenty of storage space: two head pockets, a 3D mezzanine pocket above the feet, a multimedia pocket for routing the cord of electronic devices. Ventilation is provided by the mesh fabric on the upper part of the room. The flysheet is fitted with high ventilation windows to maximise airflow and limit condensation.
The liner and carpet are made from a silicon treated, double Ripstop, multi-denier, ultra-lightweight nylon fabric with a polyurethane coating that is waterproof to a 1200mm water column. All seams are sealed with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape. It is possible to use only the flysheet with the ground sheet (sold separately), to obtain an even lighter shelter.
