The opinion of Aventure Nordique
The Alaska 1300 from Polish brand Cumulus is a four-season sleeping bag. Lightweight, durable and comfortable, it is ideal for very cold and harsh conditions. The comfort temperature is rated at -19° Celsius and it weighs 1,865 grams.
The 1,300 grams of 700 cuin Polish duck down filling provides pleasant warmth. The H-shaped double chamber construction is ideal for extreme cold. It prevents thermal bridges and allows the down to expand fully. The upper chambers are filled more than the lower ones, which are compressed when you lie down. For added protection, the Alaska has an adjustable hood, a removable collar, a fitted mummy shape and protection along the entire length of the zip.
The 35 g/m² Pertex Quantum fabric is durable and water-repellent. It features a full-length YKK zip, inner fabric protection and a self-locking system. The double slider allows you to ventilate at the feet when temperatures rise.
An inside pocket keeps your phone or any small items close at hand and warm. Two loops at the feet allow you to secure or hang (to dry) the Alaska. Comes with two covers: a large one for storage at home and a small one for transport in a rucksack or pulka.
