Cumulus Shield Boots consist of a pair of boots and waterproof and durable protection. The 850 cuin hydrophobic down boots are very warm and light. They are ideal to keep feet and lower legs protected from the extreme cold and the softness of the fabric allows you to keep them all night long in your sleeping bag. Made of 44 g/m² Pertex Quantum Pro fabric on the outside, they are windproof and moisture resistant. They also have hanging loops on top.
The two tightening cords, along the tibia and around the calf, allow a very good support of the boot even when moving around the bivouac. A third cord closes the upper part of the boot to prevent any cold air from being drawn in. These cords are easily handled with gloves.
Shield Boots are supplied with Cordura overslippers, a very resistant and waterproof fabric. They are attached with a Velcro strap and allow you to walk with your boots around the bivouac, even in the snow.
