Cumulus The Quilt 600

The Cumulus Quilt 600 is a sleeping bag designed for year-round camping. With a comfort rating of -7°C, it allows you to camp in the snow. The principle behind the Quilt is that, in a conventional sleeping bag, the sleeper compresses the down against their back. By removing this and placing the filling only where it is actually needed, the weight is reduced. With a quilt, it is therefore the mattress that acts as the insulator. For The Quilt 600, you should use an insulated mattress with an R-value of over 4/4.5. As it has no hood, the user must have something to cover their head and neck properly.

The Quilt 600 contains 600 grams of 900-fill-power Polish goose down. Its lightness is also due to the fabric used: 7-denier Toray Airstastic. The total weight is 805 grams.

This versatile quilt features elasticated cuffs and a footbox, as well as two straps for securing it to the mattress. When temperatures rise, it can be easily ventilated, and by opening the zip at the foot end, it converts into a duvet.
