Nortent Lavvo 6 PC Tent

The Lavvo 6 Tent from Norwegian manufacturer Nortent is a teepee for six people. It retains the traditional shape of Norwegian teepees but is equipped with modern technology. It is made from polycotton, which combines the qualities of cotton (breathability, waterproofing) with those of polyester (strength, lightness). The lower part of the tent is made of polyester only, to prevent moisture from rising from the ground through capillary action in the cotton. This tent is sold without an inner chamber, but the technical qualities of polycotton limit condensation and humidity, so there is less need for a chamber to keep you away from damp walls. For easy assembly, this teepee does not have a removable cap on top.

The Lavvo 6 PC Tent is very wind-resistant due to its relatively low height for a teepee (226 centimetres) and its 10 sides, which make it aerodynamic. In addition, it is equipped with a snow skirt to anchor it securely to the ground.

This teepee is also well ventilated to prevent condensation from forming inside. To create airflow, there are two air vents at the bottom of the tent and a large ventilation hatch at the top. In very humid environments, the entrance doors can also be used to promote ventilation. The doors are lined with mosquito netting to let air in but keep insects out!

For added comfort in very cold weather, a wood stove can be installed.
