Nortent Lavvo 6 Tent

The Lavvo 6 Tent from Norwegian manufacturer Nortent is a 6-person tipi. It has the traditional shape of a Norwegian tipi, but is equipped with the latest technology. Starting with the 70 denier nylon fabric, siliconised on both sides. Silnylon has many advantages: it's elastic, waterproof, strong and light. It's thanks to silnylon that the tent weighs in at just 4.2 kg. For easy assembly, this tipi has no removable top cap. For perfect waterproofing, we recommend coating the seams with SeamGrip +SIL.

The Lavvo 6 Tent has excellent wind resistance thanks to its relatively low height for a tipi, 226 centimetres, and its 10 sides, which make it aerodynamic. It also has a snow skirt to anchor it firmly to the ground.

This tipi is also well-ventilated to prevent condensation forming inside. To create a draught, there are 2 air vents at the bottom of the tent and a large ventilation flap at the top. In very humid environments, the entrance doors can also be used to promote ventilation. The doors are lined with mosquito netting to let the air in, but not the insects!

For added comfort in very cold weather, a wood-burning stove can be installed.
