Gossamer The Two

The Two by Gossamer Gear is an ultralight shelter/tent for two people that can be set up using two hiking poles. Minimalist in design, this tent is spacious and weighs 680 grams. It features a bathtub-style floor and is single-walled on one side and double-walled on the other. The fabric is 10-denier ripstop nylon coated with silicone and resistant to a water column of 1800 mm. The seams are sealed.

Its asymmetrical shape offers a large interior space and very good ventilation. On the vestibule side, a mosquito net doubles the main fabric and protects against insects. On the other side is a ventilation system. The vestibule is large enough to store gear.

The sleeping area is spacious, measuring 122 centimeters wide at the head and 114 centimeters wide at the feet, with a height of 1.14 meters. This is comfortable for mattresses and tall people. The outer door can be opened completely thanks to a buckle located near the ground.

Very easy to set up, this tarp requires at least 6 stakes (provided). Two guy ropes are also provided and there are other anchor points, which provide better wind resistance and optimize interior space. The hiking poles should be adjusted to 125 centimeters.

Some very useful details include two inside pockets, the option to install a clothesline inside (provided), reflective guy ropes and zippers, a system for attaching poles to the tent, and an angle for the poles that provides more interior space.
