The Alpina Discoverer Vital are Nordic Backcountry Skiboots with a NNN BC sole. These shoes made in Slovenia (EU) are composed of a leather upper and an Alpitex membrane that protects against water and moisture intrusion. The duo leather / waterproof-breathable membrane is an interesting combination. The leather is easy to maintain and is naturally hydrophobic. The membrane offers better breathability.

The lacing system is simple and effective with a device of 5 buckles. On the front of the shoe a sewn stone guard protects the shoes from possible shocks.

Alpina has added several reinforcement points to provide sufficient rigidity to these backcountry boots.
