Åsnes X-Skin 58 mm Mix

X-Skin 58mm Mix skins are specially designed for Åsnes skis with short skin bindings. With a width of 58 mm and a length of 650 mm, they fit perfectly on several of the brand's skis, including Ingstad, Tonje, Breidablikk, Konsgvold, Falketind 62 and Rabb 68.

Thanks to their hybrid composition (65% mohair and 35% nylon), these skins offer an excellent compromise between glide and resistance. The mohair ensures good performance on cold, dry snow, while the nylon provides greater robustness and enhanced grip in difficult conditions, such as wet snow or steeper climbs.

To optimize their performance, we recommend impregnating the skins with wax or a specific treatment, thus reducing friction and limiting snow accumulation.

X-Skin 58mm Mix skins are also equipped with a “skin protector” at the front, reducing snow and ice build-up at the attachment. They are delivered in a ventilated pouch, facilitating drying and moisture evacuation.
