Exped's Verglas 40 is a backpack designed for mountaineering and climbing. A minimalist flap and side straps allow you to carry a rope properly. On the side of the backpack, a large double-slider zipper provides direct access to the contents and a water bottle compartment. There are also slots for helmet, ice axe, shovel and probe. Under the flap, a wide, drawstring-closed opening opens onto the 40-liter volume.
The narrow, compact shape ensures ergonomics that are as close to the body as possible. The thermoformed back, comfortable shoulder straps and detachable waistbelt make for comfortable carrying. By removing the various removable parts, the weight of the backpack can be reduced to 800 grams.
The Verglas 40 backpack is designed with a light, waterproof fabric inside and out, and a robust, waterproof fabric of 210 or 420 last depending on the inserts.
